I recently found a selection of vintage crochet patterns on Etsy, all incorporating granny squares. I love granny squares, but some of these patterns are quite… well, see for yourself.

I actually own the original magazine and made the skirt in the 70’s. Love them, not sure I could pull it off anymore though.
