Are there any crocheting “21 December 2012 Survivors” out there?
Anyone..?
If you’re reading this, I promise you I will make it my mission to spread the crochet love amongst my fellow survivors (I can hear traffic noise so I’m assuming there are more of us).
In our new world we will only sleep under crocheted blankets – banishing duvets. Granny Squares will become currency and sheep will be holy animals.
Are you with me? Raise your crochet hook and leave me a comment. Please. I need to know I’m not the only crocheter left in the world!
still there and waiting for the aliens to come – gonna fight them with my biggest hook and strangle them with my yarn 🙂
I’ll join you in the fight!
Bah ram ewe….. Happy Christmas.
Lol! I’m here with hooks at the ready 😉
I banished duvets 20 years ago 🙂
Hello. I am glad you are still with us and I am very much a survivor and very much alive and I do have a crochet blanket to sleep under. It is very old and I love it.
Lol. It would almost be worth it – we could make ourselves a fortune in granny squares 🙂
I’m already a granny square millionaire 🙂
I’m a listening , I’m a crocheting
I am just a finishing a red and white for my christmas bed .
I have made about 6 biggish blankets this year as presents for my family.
I write a blog , cottonreel and I also have boards on pinterest

Hi there … alive and well in SA too. I just completed a yarn bomb last weekend. I certainly hope to see it fade in the sunshine with my own eyes. LOL !!
Survived in Berlin (Germany), working on little monsters. They might take over one day. Love your idea of granny square currency.

Hehehe, I just stumbled across this post. Alive and well in England!
Very glad we survived ’til Christmas, as otherwise I wouldn’t’ve been able to give out the crocheted gifts I made! (Priorities and all that). My Christmas Crochet achievement was a James the Tank Engine(not actually a “tank” engine, but hey) (http://weebleflip.wordpress.com/2012/12/22/james-the-mixed-traffic-engine/).
I’d not been able to find a pattern for James before, so the pattern I made up is available (free) there.
