On a Monday I can still remember the fun I had over the weekend, Wednesday is the middle of the work week, on Thursday I start getting hopeful and on a Friday I can taste the weekend. But what about a Tuesday? It’s so…. just there. Weekend memories are too far away and the upcoming weekend might as well be a year away.
What we need is a bit of colourful inspiration to get us going on a Tuesday, don’t you think? A pretty picture, beautiful scenery or colourful imagery. Yup, that’ll liven up Tuesdays and turn it into a terrific day!
From now on I will go through my photos and Pinterest likes every Tuesday and find us a pretty picture to add colour and joy to the day.
We spent our Bank Holiday weekend explore the Gowar Peninsula and Pembrokeshire coast of Wales. We had lovely weather, albeit a bit windy on Saturday, not-so-great drizzly weather on Sunday (but we still went to Tenby anyway) and on the Bank Holiday Monday it was raining from the moment we woke up. Our 4 hour journey home, took 6.5 hours – that’s 6.5 hours of driving in non-stop rain. Days like these I’m so glad John and I are snap happy. We can forget about the tiresome driving home and look back at the pretty pictures we captured. I can of course share them with you too and they make for excellent Terrific Tuesday fodder!
We will definitely be returning to Wales – where else do you see sheep grazing on steep beach cliffs, or cows grazing on farmland overlooking a sandy beach? It’s a beautiful part of the world and definitely worth exploring further. Even if it’s only for Welsh lamb loin chops bbq’ed on a portable bbq next to the campervan – which is what happened shortly after this bit of camsite-crocheting.
Wishing you all a Terrific Tuesday.
