On a Monday I can still remember the fun I had over the weekend, Wednesday is the middle of the work week, on Thursday I start getting hopeful and on a Friday I can taste the weekend. But what about a Tuesday? It’s so…. just there. Weekend memories are too far away and the upcoming weekend might as well be a year away.
What we need is a bit of colourful inspiration to get us going on a Tuesday, don’t you think? A pretty picture, beautiful scenery or colourful imagery. Yup, that’ll liven up Tuesdays and turn it into a terrific day!
From now on I will go through my photos and Pinterest likes every Tuesday and find us a pretty picture to add colour and joy to the day.

John and I spent the whole weekend outside. I picked these daffodils from our garden, John got out the patio furniture, I worked on granny squares for an afghan order (I got the order because of a photo I placed on Instagram!), and we had a BBQ with friends. All of this happened under a blue sky with the sun baking down on us. It was only about 15 degrees, but the sun was out and we cherished every moment.

I was looking forward to sharing blog week with my fellow hookers but where are all of you hiding? Should we kick of a hooker-centered week of our own perhaps? I feel the need . . . Block week is inundated with knitters, shawls and socks (great work but inspiration for hookers are thin on the ground). Cheers!

Aaah, it’s nice to know I’m missed! But sorry no, I’m going on holiday from tomorrow for 10 days so I won’t have time for the blog week. I know I could have drafted posts in advance, but I really wasn’t inspired with this year’s topics. It would have felt like hard work to think up the posts. I’m sure you’ll find inspiration for the something diffent day. Maybe just take a photo of a crochet hook and a ball of yarn. No words needed 🙂

Lovely and sunny here too, the last two days. We even went up to 20 degrees at one stage today. Lovely lovely. Hopefully we’ll all have a good summer. Lovely colours in the afghan.
The sun makes such a big difference! Everyone seems more cheery and life is just good in general 🙂 I hope the sunshines lasts for you. I’m flying to Cape Town tomorrow for 10 days. I’m hoping for 10 days of blue skies and mid 20’s 🙂
