Do you remember the Vinnis’ Colours yarn giveaway I had in September? The one where I asked you all to tell me the three shades you would most like to use for a crochet project? Well, being the eager-to-please-wannabe-business-woman that I am, I ordered the fourteen shades my dear blog readers like the most. Yes, I’m that nice.
My Etsy shop is now stocked with seventeen beautiful shades of hand dyed cotton yarn. Just pop over to www.crochetime.etsy.com and they can be yours. You don’t even need to have a PayPal account, I accept credit cards too. And I ship worldwide.
Clearly the postage to the UK is pretty exhorbitant!
Do you mean my postage charge is too high?
No, I didn’t mean that, my comment came out wrong, my apologies.
Phew, I am just so aware of the high price of postage these days. I did the quote online on the UK post office website and was shocked to see how much I would have to pay to post a ball of yarn. Then places to Deramores manage to ask less than £3 if you spend up to £25 which is something I can’t compete with, because they bulk post.
If you mean postage from SA to the UK, that is quite a lot of money too. But it’s so worth it. The yarn is just soooo pretty!
Thank you so much for pointing out the postage issue for me. I typed in 500g on the post office price tracker in stead of 50g for a ball of yarn! No wonder my pricing was all wrong! I’ve now rectified it. £2.60 for the first ball, 10p for every ball thereafter sent by 2nd class post. Much more affordable 🙂
